The Menorah is made from colored porcelain with the slip-casting technique and hand-decorated. The menorah is made of 9 separate pieces, 8 of the same size and the 9th piece larger (the "Shamash").
Each part of the menorah is handmade in Israel by ceramic artist Maiyan Ben Yona - start to finish, from the design through the glazing process to the hand-painted patterns.
Ben Yona's Menorah brings a new interpretation to the tradition of Hanukkah. They give a new shine that lights the memory of the past and adds anticipation of what the future will bring.
