This early 20th century glazed pot was sourced from Belgium and is worked in terracotta, its surface finished in a warm reddish brown tone. The glazed pot is a rounded urn form with two loop handles beneath a deep reddish-brown glaze. The piece carries the honest, unpretentious character of a well-made object built for daily use rather than display alone. Wear consistent with genuine age is visible throughout, lending the piece an authentic, collected character rather than a manufactured one. It is well suited to a discerning collection, adding warmth and provenance to an otherwise contemporary or classic setting.
